Living in Ecuador

Ecuador is a small country with outstanding natural beauty, from its tropical beaches to the Amazon jungle and the soaring peaks of the Andes. At present, all of its international schools are located in the capital, Quito. It is an attractive location to live and work because of its relatively low cost of living, and the infrastructure is steadily improving. The main concern is likely to be safety; Quito has a relatively high incidence of violent crime, so expats must be cautious.
