The world is emerging from lockdown and we’re finally transitioning back to the classroom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a community of teachers ourselves we understand that this new normal in education will be different within various contexts around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pupils have been studying for an average of 5 hours per day. However, the Institute for Fiscal Studies found that 60% of parents struggled to support their children’s learning at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Educators around the globe have had such a strong impact on student wellbeing. These past months have been critical. Teachers have shown incredible resilience and we\u2019re proud to continue supporting the international teaching community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teacher Horizons\u2019 director of operations, Emily Parkman, is positive about the future of education. \u201cAlthough the last 6 months have been incredibly tough on everyone in the international education community we have seen educators going above and beyond to support their students. The next year is going to be a very interesting time as international schools return to the new ‘normal’ and hopefully integrate any positive changes and experiences that have come out of this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ve witnessed great innovation in distance learning. Educators have focused on wellbeing, the environment, and creativity. It\u2019s been truly inspiring to see! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
