Living in Paraguay

Paraguay has several benefits for international teachers looking to relocate; for example, the cost of living is low so it's likely that you will be able to save some money. It also has some stunning areas of natural beauty, from waterfalls to mountain ranges. However, Paraguay does not have a particularly large expat population so it may be an effort to get involved in local life. Most expats are located in the capital, Asunción. English is not very widely spoken in Paraguay, so expats should try to learn at least enough Spanish to communicate in everyday situations.
