Why?
This school year, we will be launching our ambassador competition, to raise the profile of our TH ambassadors and the schools that they represent. Over the course of the year, ambassadors will take part in various small challenges, with the opportunity to win some amazing prizes!
What?
The aim of the competition is to showcase both the ambassador and their school. Each task is centered around providing insight into life at an ambassador’s school as well as the city and country where they live. The challenges will be small and easy to fit into a busy timetable – virtual school tours, ‘a day in the life’ blog, referring a friend, all in return for the opportunity to win some excellent prizes.
How?
It’s really straightforward – over the course of the 2022/23 school year, we will set six tasks in total – two each term. At the end of each term, the entries will be judged and the two winning ambassadors will be announced and awarded their prizes. It’s good to remember that the tasks will not require much time and, with around 130 other ambassadors, there’s a very good chance of winning – so it’s worth getting involved!
When?
The competition will run over the course of 2022/23, with tasks being set at the start of each term. To find out more, email helen@teacherhorizons.com

**Prizes**
We’ve thought long and hard about the types of prizes teachers would want to win – we’re thinking wellbeing, work-life balance, and travel opportunities!
For Term 1, the prizes that are up for grabs are….
- A yearly subscription to your favourite streaming service – Spotify, Audible, Netflix. We know these luxuries keep teachers sane in the depths of a busy term so we would like to cover the cost for the whole year! (up to the cost of $200)
- $300 towards a new hobby – a good work-life balance makes for a happy teacher. Therefore, we would like to invest in a new hobby of yours. Perhaps a new tennis racket, language lessons, salsa classes, or even that yoga retreat you’ve been meaning to book. Whichever you decide we’d love to help you reach that goal.
Judging
All entries will be judged by our TH team on a set criteria.
